Hi, I am Sandy Bernier and I would like to welcome you to Brewhaus Rottweilers. We are located in Alpine, California (San Diego County). We are a small hobby kennel that is dedicated to the preservation of the true Rottweiler and breed according to the AKC standard. I am a member of the American Rottweiler Club (the parent club with mandatory code of ethics).
Our Rottweilers are bred for beauty, intelligence, and wonderful temperaments. We breed for quality not quantity and typically have one well planned litter every couple of years. When we do have a litter we put a great amount of love and care into raising well socialized puppies who are raised indoors and held and loved from day one.
We believe in health clearances for our Rottweilers. Our dogs are tested and results are on our pages and can be verified on the OFA website. We test hips, elbows, heart, eyes, JLPP and dentition. All of our dogs are also DNA profiled with the AKC. We screen prospective buyers very carefully to make sure that each and every one of our puppies goes into a permanent suitable home. We don't ship puppies, the new owners must come to our home to pick up their puppy. If you don't live in our area you can fly with your puppy at eight weeks old under your seat.
Sandy acquired her first Rottweiler in 1995, Ghianni's Moosehead. Moose is the foundation bitch for Brewhaus Rottweilers and the reason that Sandy fell in love with this amazing breed. We are involved in AKC conformation shows, obedience, and have been involved with some carting, agility, and German style shows. We put a great amount of time and thought into our breeding program and strive to produce The Total Rottweiler. The dogs that live here with us are truly a part of our family.
